“The death of Ruth’s mother and brother as well as the broken marriage she experienced, have become transformed into a gift of love and hope through this caring, sensible and informative book. Written with a strong Christian approach to grief, it brings comfort, reassurance and hope that “when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” our own personal grief experience, God promises to be with us. Thank you Ruth for inviting us into the ‘living room of your heart’ to spread this HOPE.”

“Ruth carefully, gently and openly shares her story - the stories of her families’ grief and turmoil over many years. Her pursuit of exposing grief and its place in our lives is written to bring light and ultimately freedom. I am grateful for Ruth’s constant and consistent faith and trust in God, through grief. It is because of her journey and willingness to share, that others will once again, or perhaps begin, to sing a song of joy, that will lead them home.”
