Newly qualified as a detective, the feisty young and beautiful DC Alex McDonald and her equally young and enthusiastic partner Troy’s first case is that of a missing person – in Uganda. As the movements of the missing woman become shrouded in mystery, Alex’s search takes her to the African country.
Guided by the missing woman’s diaries, Alex travels the length of Uganda in her quest, little realizing that time is running out. As events back home in Melbourne and in Uganda close in on them, Alex’s search yields a sudden and unexpected twist. Working her way through the culture and customs of Uganda, can Alex find the lady in time?

With a background in music teaching and theology to children and people of all ages, Glynis Dickins has ministered in Baptist churches for many years across Melbourne, Australia. Wife, mother and grandmother, she is passionate about the Gospel message and sharing it in creative, contemporary and alternative ways. Having recently stepped down from full-time pastoral ministry, she has been able to ‘marry’ her writing interests with personal experiences of mission work in Uganda. She travels regularly to Uganda, spending time with the local school children as well as preaching the gospel in neighbourhood churches and Bible Study groups around Jinja.
